Tungsten alloy rivet top rod for aircraft maintenance


Riveting is a common assembly method. The tungsten alloy rivet acts as the top rod to make the guide rivet. The top rod is placed on the head where the rivet is inserted and the hammer is used to strike the other end. This method is also called the rivet top rod method. The tungsten alloy rivet bar acts to reduce the effect of recoil as well as to provide support and mitigate impact forces.


The tungsten alloy rivet bar is used on the back of the metal rivet to resist the hammer force and can be used to resist the force of the rivet gun and reduce the buckling vibration. The corners of the rivet top rod are ground, and the working surface is polished for easy use. This helps prevent deformation of the depressurized tail. Note: The rivet bar should not be clamped with a vise unless the jaws of the vise are fitted with a protective peach to prevent damage to the rivet bar.


Tungsten alloy rivet bar is used for riveting guns. Usually, rivet top bars are designed in different shapes and sizes. Tungsten alloy rivet top bar is similar to tool steel. The special shape should be designed according to the rivet gun used. The dimensions and weight of the tungsten alloy rivet bar are determined by the rivet gun used. In some cases, special tungsten alloy rivet top bars can be designed for special riveting.
