Molybdenum rhenium alloy is an alloy with molybdenum as the matrix and different content of rhenium added.

Both molybdenum and rhenium are refractory metals. Combining the two components, molybdenum rhenium alloy has high temperature physical properties of rhenium, good mechanical properties of molybdenum, and natural excellent properties of molybdenum rhenium alloy.

The rolling deformation can reach 90%. 47.5% or 41% rhenium can be added into molybdenum to form molybdenum rhenium alloy (nominal composition is 50% Mo+50% Re), and its ductility, weldability and formability are greatly improved.

Molybdenum rhenium alloy can maintain good ductility even after high temperature.

Product application

Aerospace parts: Molybdenum rhenium alloy is applied to high temperature parts, temperature measurement systems, structural materials, space reactor heating tubes, etc. in aerospace field.

Electronic industry: electron probe, target material.

Semiconductor industry: Molybdenum rhenium alloy is used for high-temperature parts and thermocouple wires in equipment used in semiconductor industry.
