4. Use performance

4.1 High temperature performance

The working temperature of tungsten filament for incandescent lamps is usually between 2300-2800 ℃. Generally, the higher the power of the bulb, the higher the working temperature of the filament. It can be seen that the working temperature of the filament far exceeds the re-crystallization temperature of the tungsten filament.

4.2 Room temperature performance

The room temperature performance of tungsten wire is reflected in the winding performance. Due to its long processing flow, tungsten wire is easy to produce many small cracks or become brittle locally if the process management is not good, so that it is easy to break when winding. The fracture of the wire wound caused by the crack is in the shape of whiskers, and the fracture caused by the brittleness of the wire is in the shape of crystal plane.
