Zr rod Description
Zirconium rod is a very resistant metal, used in chemical corrosion resistant equipment, its acid resistance is close to tantalum. Zirconium rod has corrosion resistance in all hydrochloric acid concentrations and temperatures up to the boiling point, and is not prone to slot corrosion, point corrosion and stress corrosion. Zr rod in sulfuric acid can withstand the boiling point, and higher than the boiling point, the concentration of up to 70% zirconium can be some highly corrosive environment including a variety of inorganic acid (hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc.), alkali, most of the organic acid (such as hydrochloric acid, formic acid, etc.) a variety of salt solution and molten alkali.
